Reverse your Endometriosis with Pau D’arco

endometriosis

Endometriosis is one of those rare conditions that almost no one is familiar with except the sufferer.

The only reason I’m familiar with it is because I met someone not too long ago who was suffering from it. She told me it’s an incurable condition which can lead to infertility and can cause women to become socially recluse, particularly with the opposite sex.

I was shocked by what she told me, it was hard to believe women were living with this condition. Being I’m a hawk for so-called incurable conditions I went on an academic adventure to find out what causes it and what natural substances could reverse it.

What is it?
Endometriosis is a condition where the lining of the uterus grows in other places, such as the fallopian tubes, ovaries or along the pelvis. When that lining breaks down, menstrual fluids have nowhere to go, this causes cysts, heavy periods, severe cramps and even infertility.

What causes it?

The “experts” claim to not know what causes this disease. But apparently researchers are studying these possible causes:

  • Problems with menstrual period flow
  • Genetic factors
  • Immune system problems
  • Hormones
  • Surgery

What are the symptoms?

Be wary as other medical conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), ovarian cysts, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can mimic the symptoms of endometriosis.

Symptoms of endometriosis include:

  • Severe menstrual cramps
  • Long-term lower-back and pelvic pain
  • Periods lasting longer than 7 days
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding where the pad or tampon needs changing every 1 to 2 hours
  • Bowel and urinary problems including pain, diarrhea, constipation, and bloating
  • Bloody stool or urine
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Fatigue
  • Pain during intercourse
  • Spotting or bleeding between periods

What did I find to reverse it

Pau D’arco… Also known as Lapacho is prevalent in the rainforests of South America, specifically in Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. Interestingly the medicinal part of the tree is not the leaves, roots or bark but the inner lining of the bark. Indigenous people of South America know it as “taheebo” and “ipe roxo”, and have used it for the treatment of malaria, influenza, lupus, respiratory problems, syphilis, colitis, and fungal infections for hundreds if not thousands of years.

In modern times it’s known as a candida killer and has been used to treat cancer. The Argentine government apparently administers it for free to patients with leukemia and cancer.

How does this reverse Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is an inflammatory condition.

When excess estrogen levels (estradiol is the harmful estrogen) are elevated it contributes to oxidative damage, inflammation, fibrosis, and scar tissue build-up. To add to the unsavory cycle, the abnormal endometrial tissues also secret more estrogen called estradiol which engenders more inflammation, immune reaction, tissue fibrosis, ovarian cysts, scar tissue formation, hormonal imbalance, and possible infertility.

Pau D’arco is anti-inflammatory, immune modifying, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic and hormone modulating.

Pau D’Arco attacks endometriosis by purifying the blood and detoxifying the liver. The liver is the key organ of focus when it comes to Endometriosis. If the liver has to process an excess of hormones and toxins in the body, the symptoms of Endometriosis will become worse. See my article on “Milk Thistle” as this is the most powerful liver detoxifier I know.

It can also kill candida albicans which is a common cause or contributor to leaky gut syndrome, auto-immune disorders, systemic inflammation, and degenerative diseases. So it’s imperative that an anti-yeast regimen is vital for the healing of endometriosis and many other issues regardless of the cause.

In short pau d’arco is used to support a sluggish liver, cleanse the blood, reverse inflammation, eliminate abnormal growth, tumor overgrowth and cysts that may be associated with endometriosis.

How should I take Pau D’arco?

Pau d’arco can be ingested in many different forms including tablets, tinctures, soft gels, capsules, herb teas, liquid, ointment and powder forms. Some people don’t like tinctures because they may contain alcohol, others don’t like tablets because many of them are full of fillers and binders. Others feel that soft gels and capsules are not as effective and potent.

Ingesting a liquid extract or the tea made from the inner bark where the active ingredient is concentrated is superior. Take note to not purchase pau d’arco formulated from the outer bark as it’s ineffective regardless of the dosage.

The consensus for endometriosis or infertility to take 1 teaspoonful of the standardized liquid extract diluted in water 3 times daily. As for the tea preparation of the inner bark, drink at least 3 cups daily, positive effects should be noticed after a month. Patience and persistence is key to slaying this dragon.
