How to reverse and dissolve Blood clots

by Sean Martu

A blood clot is mass of blood that forms when platelets, proteins, and cells in the blood stick together. When you have an accident or get injured and you start to bleed, your body forms a blood clot to stop the bleeding. When the bleeding stops, your body usually breaks down and removes the blood clot. But unfortunately, sometimes the blood clots form where they shouldn’t, your body makes too many blood clots or abnormal blood clots, or the blood clots don’t break down. These blood clots can be dangerous, life-threatening, and may cause other health impediments.

Blood clots can form in or travel to blood vessels in the limbs, lungs, brain, heart, and kidneys. The types of problems blood clots can cause will depend on where they are:

  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot in a deep vein, usually in the lower leg, thigh, or pelvis. It can block a vein and cause damage to your leg.
  • A pulmonary embolism can happen when a DVT breaks off and travels through the bloodstream to the lungs. It can damage your lungs and prevent your other organs from getting enough oxygen.
  • Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is a rare blood clot in the venous sinuses in your brain. Normally the venous sinuses drain blood from your brain. CVST blocks the blood from draining and can cause a hemorrhagic stroke.
  • Blood clots in other parts of the body can cause problems such as an ischemic stroke, a heart attack, kidney problems, kidney failure, and pregnancy-related problems.

Who is at risk for blood clots?

Certain factors can raise the risk of blood clots:

  • Atherosclerosis
  • Atrial fibrillation
  • Cancer and cancer treatments
  • Certain genetic disorders
  • Certain surgeries
  • COVID-19
  • Diabetes
  • Family history of blood clots
  • Overweight and obesity
  • Pregnancy and giving birth
  • Serious injuries
  • Some medicines, including birth control pills
  • Smoking
  • Staying in one position for a long time, such as being in the hospital or taking a long car or plane ride

The symptoms for blood clots can be different, depending on where the blood clot is:

  • abdomen clot: Abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting
  • arm or leg clot: Sudden or gradual pain, swelling, tenderness, and warmth
  • clot in the lungs: Shortness of breath, pain with deep breathing, rapid breathing, and increased heart rate
  • clot in the brain: Trouble speaking, vision problems, seizures, weakness on one side of the body, and sudden severe headache
  • clot in the heart: Chest pain, sweating, shortness of breath, and pain in the left arm

What are the treatments for blood clots?

Treatments for blood clots depend on where the blood clot is located and how severe it is. Treatments may include, blood thinners, and medicines such as thrombolytics which are usually used where the blood clots are severe. There is also the option of Surgery and other procedures to remove the blood clots.

How do we prevent and dissolve blood clots naturally?

The Harvard Gazette published a study “Flavonoid compound can prevent blood clots“, and within it states-

“Rutin proved to be the most potently anti-thrombotic compound that we ever tested in this model,” says Flaumenhaft. Of particular note, rutin was shown to inhibit both platelet accumulation and fibrin generation during thrombus formation. “Clots occur in both arteries and in veins,” explains Flaumenhaft. “Clots in arteries are platelet-rich, while those in veins are fibrin-rich. This discovery suggests that a single agent can treat and prevent both types of clots.”

Even with the use of existing anti-clotting therapies, such as aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), and warfarin (Coumadin), each year there are approximately 400,000 recurrent episodes among patients who previously experienced a stroke or heart attack, says Flaumenhaft.

This is incredible because this one antioxidant can remedy both types of blood clots which require two different types of medications.

The article also states –

A bioflavonoid that is naturally found in many fruits and vegetables, including onions, apples, and citrus fruits, as well as teas, rutin is also sold as an herbal supplement, having received a special designation for safety from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Surprisingly, studies of the rutin molecule demonstrated that the same part of the molecule that provides rutin with its ability to inhibit PDI also prevents the compound from entering cells.

“That finding explained how this compound can be both a potent inhibitor of PDI and a safe food supplement,” says Flaumenhaft. “Our next questions were: Is this compound anti-thrombotic? Can it prevent blood clots?”

The team went on to test rutin in a mouse model of thrombosis. Because they knew that humans would be taking rutin in pill form, they included studies in which the compound was administered orally and determined that it successfully retained its anti-thrombotic properties when it was metabolized following oral ingestion.

Organic apples have the highest concentration of rutin –

  1. Apples
  2. Buckwheat
  3. Capers
  4. Olives
  5. Passion flower
  6. Black
  7. Green tea
  8. Amaranth leaves
  9. Elderflower (used in teas and extracts)
  10. Figs

It must be organic apples because when apple trees are sprayed with pesticides, they stop producing certain phytochemicals within their fruit.

So eating or juicing organic apples can not only save your life and preserve your health from blood clots, but also save you a lot of money. But if you’d also like to take the rutin in pill form, you can get the Now brand of rutin on Amazon.com.

I also had a life-threatening experience with pulmonary embolism, and you can read about my experience in the article that I wrote.
