How Lemons healed my Skin Rash

I remember the day like it was yesterday, the skin on my left arm was red, it was raised with little bumps and it was itching like the devil. I was literally tearing at it with my nails, it was unbearable. I found myself driving 70 mph to the $100/ per appointment dermatologist.

But as I was driving, I remembered the last time I had seen this dermatologist, it was for the same issue and all dude did was give me some prescription steroids which didn’t really do anything, nor relieve my incessant itching. He also said that the rash was a result of a reaction of something in the skin cream I was using and the sun.

So I thought to myself why the hell am I going back, that’s when the magical “event” happened.

I don’t know if it was my spirit guides, or my subconscious pulled out some long lost forgotten knowledge, but this idea popped in my head to get a lemon cut it in half and rub it on my rash.

After pondering it for a minute, I noticed a Publix grocery store along the way so I decided to roll the die, so I turned the car around and went to go buy a lemon and try what my “intuition” was telling me.

I also bought a knife along with the lemon so could cut it, when I was back in my car I sliced it in half and rubbed it on my arm. I swear to the Earth Goddess as soon as it touched my arm, the itching immediately stopped.

I then called the dermatologist and canceled the appointment. A couple of hours later my arm no longer had red bumpy raised skin.

After discovering this remedy for itching rashes I searched the internet to find out how it worked.

So how did the lemon get rid of my rash?

Lemon is loaded with Vitamin C and possesses bleaching properties, making it one of the best natural remedies for skin problems. Simply apply lemon juice on the affected area and let it dry. Initially, you might feel a burning sensation, but the lemon will heal the itching quickly. Later wash it off with water. Some of the “experts” state using undiluted lemon water can cause erosions and chemical burns, which can lead to inflammation and secondary hyperpigmentation. But when I had my rash issue, I just rubbed the lemon on my skin undiluted and it worked magic, so do whatever works for you.

What other skin healing properties does lemon have?

The vitamin C in lemons stimulates collagen production which in turn helps to reduce signs of aging. Lemon juice contains citric acid which can treat mild acne and photoaging such as brown spots, over tanned skin and wrinkles. Drinking lemon water enhances the purification abilities of the skin and other cells. The lemon water lemon induces skin cells to detox and to force out impurities through the sweat glands which can clog pores, it can also reduce the incidence of acne.

Drinking warm lemon water first thing in the mourning before you eat anything is great for the liver. Doing this will support liver detoxification, as well and liver cellular regeneration in regards to non-viral hepatitis and fatty liver.
