Read my initial article ” How to reverse erectile dysfunction“, to get a better grasp of this updated article.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, “the prevalence of ED is 52%.2 The study demonstrated that ED is increasingly prevalent with age: approximately 40% of men are affected at age 40 and nearly 70% of men are affected at age 70. The prevalence of complete ED increased from 5% at age 40 to 15% at age 70.”
If this isn’t a terrifying stat for both sexes, I don’t know what is.
I have recently found that ED finds its origin in diabetes, hyperglycemia, and insulin resistance.
Hyperglycemia is a trait of diabetes and insulin resistance, it’s defined as having constantly high blood glucose(sugar). Hyperglycemia drastically reduces the production of nitric oxide. Nitric Oxide is pertinent for a successful erection, according to the PubMed Article “The Role of Nitric Oxide in Erectile Dysfunction: Implications for Medical Therapy” –
Penile erection is a complex process involving psychogenic and hormonal input, and a neurovascular nonadrenergic, noncholinergic mechanism. Nitric oxide (NO) is believed to be the main vasoactive nonadrenergic, noncholinergic neurotransmitter and chemical mediator of penile erection.
Without NO relaxing the penile organ, it’s difficult for the blood to enter the organ to develop a healthy erection.
When I cured my erectile dysfunction, I unknowingly had insulin resistance. So when I used magnesium to relieve my blood pressure, I did not know at the time that magnesium is integral for the body’s cells’ insulin sensitivity, meaning magnesium aids cellular absorption of blood glucose, thereby reducing high circulating blood sugar.
So to fix ED you have to fix the underlying issues that are causing it. If you have Type 1 or 2 diabetes, read my article “How to Reverse Diabetes“. If you have insulin resistance(if you’re diabetic read it too) read my article ” How to reverse insulin resistance“.
By reversing these two conditions, you will get your erections back.
